nadzy.

is Sam's new game's character. You see, there's this new game called Aion which he is quite into at the moment...

I must say, creating a character is tremendously fun! The features of this game allows you to create your character in miniscule detail. So hotness extremo, here we come!

introducing, Nadzy

i'm liking the eye-makeup and blonde hair

not too sure about the dress though... but that's the one thing that's beyond our control=p

the one shot i'm proud of.

I'm not a great photographer, believe me. Well, you can probably tell by the quality of my photos.=( But I'm really quite happy with this shot!

It's a bit dark. But nothing photoshop can't fix I don't think..

out and about in london city.

To celebrate recent happenings, S and I decided to roam the pretty streets of London city. After galivanting on Bond Street, Regent Street and Oxford Street, when our jelly legs couldn't wobble any further, we stopped for coffee at our favourite little cafe called tibits.

Now without any further ado, how about some photos?=p

desert song.

I have always liked this song since the moment Sar introduced it to me. It's the song I hum to myself whilst cooking, or ironing,... well, mostly when i'm doing my household chores=) It has an amazing melody and Brooke Fraser's voice is the kind of voice that stops you in your tracks.

Maybe it's just me but have you ever felt that sometimes, when life gets in the way, you find yourself praying more but this time, more selfishly and resentfully. Eg: for time to move faster for your benefit, or for God to please make certain things happen for your life.

Well, I've been faced with that lately and one day, with God's grace, I halted and thought, "well hang on there little missy! It's not all about you. It's really not about what you want. Wake up and know that the world does not revolve around you, you silly lil' twit!"

I know, I know. I'm a bit slow sometimes to realize things=p. But I know now and it feels pretty darn amazing. So, I was listening to the Desert Song again and this time, the words held new meaning for me because truly, 'all of my life, in every season, You are still God, I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship'.

Heavenly Father, Your will be done and not mine. Always always. And I pray for Your guidance, wisdom, courage, patience, understanding, humility, gratefulness, love, peace and hope to deal with all that comes my way.

Ooh how I love 'listening points'!=)

i play WoW and i am now cool.

I have been in the UK for 90-ish days now and it has all been like a dream to me. Visiting places, soaking in the fulfilling sights of my one true architecture passion of heritage buildings, history and culture, viewing the paintings (in real flesh and blood) I have so painstakingly wrote about and researched via the internet and books,etc...

But let's face it; no one, not even the most passionate person ever can view these sights every single freaking day for 90 days. So I am proud to announce that I have been spending my extra time at home,

wait for it...

wait for it......................

playing the wonderful WORLD OF WARCRAFT!

Oh behold, Gelane, a Night Elf. My very own level 80 Death Knight with almost full Epic Items!!!

I am very proud of her. She is my alter ego of coolness. I figured since I will never be cool in the real world, I'll jolly well be cool in CYBERworld. =p

HAH so there!=))

i heart leighton buzzard plus horse riding.

i love our weekends away at Leighton Buzzard. Like I said in one of my previous posts, it's my little getaway=) It's the only place in the world where i can sleep till 2.30 in the afternoon. (I know, shocking isn't it?=S)

Well, this weekend to Leighton Buzzard marks my first attempt at horse riding and lemme tell you this, it's much harder than it looks! I always thought the hardest part was climbing onto the horse and once that's done, everything will just fall into place. Just sit still and shout a hearty, "HIYAH GIDDYUP HORSIE!", whilst jiggling the reigns a little oughta do it! And to make it stop? Easy Peasy. Just pull the reigns and go "WhoA steady girl....=)"

But no....

It has a lot to do with balance and controlling your weight on the horse. Michael, (Sam's uncle) was an excellent teacher=) Here are some of my riding tips:

1. When mounting a horse, do not worry about the horse. Instead, worry about yourself.

2. When on a horse, don't talk to him/her like you're talking to a friend. Eg: "Good morning Imeria dear, and how are we this morning. You're a very pretty horse did you know? You're the prettiest one in the field! ", Instead, keep it minimal and instructional to avoid confusing the horse. Eg: "Walk on, Slow down, Trot, Gallop".

3. Bribe them with apples and carrots prior to riding them to make yourself feel more secure. I sure did! Because surely Imeria will recognise the nice girl who gave her the yummy apples and carrots and will not be jumpy and nervous and trample the nice girl to death. I mean, I gave her apples and carrots dammit!

All in all, I can't wait to ride again!!!=))

Here are some pictures Sam took. That silly boy couldn't stop laughing at my riding hat but I think it's quite fashionable actually, don't you?

listening point.

from: http://yasminthefilmmaker.blogspot.com/2008/12/one-you-feed.html

One evening, an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, greed, and arrogance. The other is Good - It is peace, love, hope, humility, compassion, and faith."

The grandson thought about this for a while and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

To which the old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

the lion king.

was absolutely fantastical!=)

I vividly remember the first musical I've ever been to: Fame at Istana Budaya and I was completely blown away. Now, I can't get enough of it! The rich rich beautiful vocals blending together with the orchestra and vibrant colours plus the excitement of all the viewers in a heritage building really makes it a magical experience for me time and time again.=)

Well, without further ado, pictures!! (forgive me, some are quite blur)
